Artist & Designer
I worked as an artist/designer in a collaborative group of five team mates to develop a game in Unity on a central theme of a heart beat. I created a 3D Model of the Heart in Maya, created bones to rig the atriums/ventricles/valves, and designed the user interface elements in Illustrator and Photoshop. My first game jam was an experience that improved my ability to conceptualize with team mates. I learned some limitations of Unity, and improved my workflow by finishing a game over three days. My team received kudos in Technical Excellence and Innovative categories.

The game is played using a MaKey MaKey device, that uses electrical currents through wires for user input. The game involved the participation of five players - one of which is the "patient" - the other four players are "doctors". Each "doctor" has to pay attention to one of the four heart parts. The "doctors objective is to save the patient by touching the "patient's" skin when their corresponding heart part glows. Failure to time the touch the patient correctly will damage the heart, which can only endure three injuries before the patient's heart fails. The game uses collaboration and coordination between players to save the patient's heart from failing.

Arena of The Gods (Fighting) Unity Game
Rigging & MotionCapture
The model and texture for the Minotaur is done by my friend JoAnna L. Kiech from Senior Project. I constucted a rig for the model to animate the character. The video demonstrates Motion Capture from MotionBuilder by applying motion capture data, and using the Windows Kinect with Ipi Studio and Ipi Recorder to turn live motions from depth footage and apply it to your model.
The Centaur and Minotaur Rigs created for our Senior Project game called Arena of the Gods.
